Digital currencies remain a controversial topic, and recent research suggests that education is key to driving consumer usage.

When August 2014 polling by Lightspeed Research for Accenture asked internet users in North America who hadn’t used digital currencies such as Bitcoin, Litecoin and Peercoin about their reasons for not doing so, a lack of information was the most popular response, cited by 38% of respondents.
