Parents' Monitoring Of Kids' Online Activity, October 2014 [CHART]
Parents of younger children are significantly more likely to monitor their children’s online activities very closely. Nearly seven in 10 parents of 6- to 9-year-olds keep a close eye on what their kids are doing online, compared with 41% of parents with 14- to 17-year-olds.
Parents largely deem offline activities less harmful to their children than online activities. Only 14% of parents said offline apps and mobile/video games were more harmful than beneficial to their kids.
