SMB Decision-Makers' Data Breach Plans, October 2014 [CHART]

Though nearly 80% of SMB execs were extremely (27%) or moderately (52%) confident in the security of sensitive data, they don’t necessarily have a plan if something goes wrong.

Fully 44% of respondents said they had no plan for data breaches—or weren’t aware of one even if they did. Just 18% felt that their current security would be completely sufficient if a breach were to happen, while 36% were relying on insurance.
