Enterprises' Most Popular Mobile Messaging Types, August 2014 [CHART]

Roughly 9 in 10 enterprises are either using or plan to in the next year use time-sensitive reminders and notifications through mobile channels, reports Message Systems. The most widely adopted customer messaging types are SMS (89% either using or planning to in the next year) and mobile-optimized / responsive design email (also 89%), while 8 in 10 are either using or plan to use push notifications. Separately, more than 7 in 10 currently or plan to use location-based mobile strategies. Source: Message Systems
