Chart - Global Business Social Media Use By Channel

According to an April survey conducted byInSites Consulting and SSI, business executives in the US and several countries in Europe (Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK) reported that a majority of their companies were active on social media websites, but lacked complete social media integration in day-to-day business practices.

The top four social media platforms included Facebook (used by 61% of respondent firms), Twitter (39%), LinkedIn (29%) and YouTube (24%). By country, Facebook adoption was highest in the US and the UK, at 80% and 61%, respectively. Read the rest at eMarketer.
