Nearly half of US teens say they prefer Snapchat over other social media sites, including Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

That’s according to Piper Jaffray, which surveyed approximately 6,100 US teens with an average age of 16 during fall 2017.

In fact, the number of teens preferring Snapchat grew by 8 percentage points from spring 2017. And compared with a year prior, that figure was up by 12 percentage points.
